DisDos (Diversity in Science and Diversity of Science) is an organization that hosts interdisciplinary science conferences to create an inclusive and intellectual platform for professionals and students. These conferences encourage networking, idea exchange, and career development, aiming to promote trust in science by welcoming all backgrounds.

DisDos 2023 was a student-led, region-wide interdisciplinary science conference uniting students and faculty from universities across New England. Hosted at Quinnipiac University’s Center for Communications and Engineering in Hamden, Connecticut, the conference focused on the theme of “Science Research and Career Development.” The event provided a platform for sharing research and engaging in discussions that span diverse areas of science, medicine, and innovation. Featuring participation from institutions such as Quinnipiac University, Rutgers University, SUNY Upstate Medical University, and St. George’s University, the conference included presentations, workshops, panels, and networking opportunities that encouraged collaboration and skill development. DisDos 2024 was a premier medical and healthcare conference that brought together medical students, clinicians, and professionals from leading institutions. The conference supported collaboration and discussion across a range of clinical fields, including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, neurology, psychiatry, and primary care. It included research presentations, clinical case discussions, and interactive workshops on topics such as residency applications and professional development. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with innovative approaches to patient care and share insights from diverse healthcare settings. The event also fostered networking and mentorship opportunities, helping participants build connections that extend beyond the conference itself.
